I was at a friend’s house yesterday afternoon (half mile from us) and she has a GORGEOUS iris going as well (two years now). Zone 9b. Naysayers take note.

Is that one of the ones you ordered from Nola’s? So lovely. I promised myself I’d order at least one “sampler” from them this year. I’d better get about it!

No, it is one of the ones I bought before discovering Nola’s, from American Meadows. Nola’s has a much larger selection though, some really cool varieties.
