This year, yeah, since Husband has resumes out to various places and we weren't sure if we were moving or not. I've since discovered I can't freaking live that way, on eleventerhooks all the time. Plants are staying in containers anyway, demmit. And everything is doing great. We have the tomatoes all *inside* the pool enclosure, since the various bastard beasties that also love them are likewise as vigorous as everything else down here. The cucumbers (the curly thing up top), carrots, onions, radishes, melons and citrus trees are all outside the enclosure.

Yah, we have pesticides and we're not afraid to use them.

So, do you leave everything in containers? That main photo (the curly sprout thingy) is gorgeous, by the way.
