Robb - Those are nice. Pity the artsy movement wasn't happening when the Husband and I were married. That bastard photographer actually had he and his dad (best man) pose looking anxiously at their watches. Snarl.

Michele - Oh, nooess. The 100 was even stretching it a bit, I think. But thanks for the flatte...er, compliment. :)

I would have picked WAY more than 100. I am constantly in awe of, and inspired by, your pictures.

I've always wanted to shoot nudes because lighting is so important there. With weddings, I get what God gives me or otherwise a mounted flash which, if I'm lucky and have low ceilings, I can bounce. Otherwise, welcome to "Snapshot Hell".

Weddings are... different. It's about seeing things happen before they happen. And I'm finding that seeing things differently sells a lot better.

One of my signature shots is focusing on an object rather than the couple, like this - http://www.photosig.com/go/photos/view?id=2014623

Of course, some of the best shots happen at the worst times
Flatterer.

I like taking pictures of people...pretty ones. :) And the Husband has done some fabulous nudes. Couldn't pay me to do wedding shots, though I've seen some very artsy stuff getting popular lately.

I wish I had that problem when I shot weddings. Of course, with digital, it's a little different. I *know* when I miss a shot and delete it without looking.

However, when it comes time to sort them in Lightroom, I'd say out of 1000 pictures I only toss 10 to 20, and most of those tend to be duplicates. Of course, when doing the portraits, I'll take 7 of the same pose from various focal lengths so that adds to the numbers.

I actually have had to mentally restrain myself from taking so many pictures. Yeah, it's nice to hand off 1800 pictures to a bride (from me and my asst), but the bride gets overwhelmed.

I've been remiss about complimenting you on your work. Most of them I assumed you simply scanned out of National Geographic they are so good.

Funny, I'm terrible with landscapes and birds, but fantastic with people. Just my style I guess.
